Volunteer position: Regional Commissioner (East Midlands)
After nearly two years of hard work Byron Chatburn will be leaving the role of Regional Commissioner (East Midlands) over the coming months.
The Appointments sub-Committee have agreed that recruitment to this critical role can start immediately and have asked the Chief Commissioner of England (North) to form a search group to identify a suitable candidate.
The search group is:
John Asplin, Chief Commissioner of England (Chair of the search group )
Mark Waterstreet, Regional Commissioner (West Midlands)
Nicola Leadbetter, Elected Youth Representative, Committee of the Council
David Poppleton, Head of the Regional Development Service
If you have any name or names of people you think suitable, please complete and return the enclosed nomination form. Self-nominations are also invited and are encouraged.
The search group also recognise that there may be particular attributes that you feel are important for this role at this time, in which case please feel able to offer these to the address below.
Please think as widely as possible about who might be suitable. Any nomination should be kept strictly confidential and will be treated as such by the Search Group.
The closing date for all communications, including nominations or self-nominations, by 13 June 2008. Short-listing will be during the following weeks, with interviews timetabled for July.
