Overseas Branches
Not all of the Scout Association's members live in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. There are in fact several thousand Scouts who are members of British Groups Abroad, British Scouts of Western Europe or the Association's Branches.
The Branches lie in the Atlantic, Caribbean and Pacific as well as the closer to home in Gibraltar. Some are based on British Overseas Territories, others on independant nations. If you are interested in learning more about the Branches, or would like to form links and share ideas with Branches groups please email the International Team.
October 2009 saw the first Branches Conference take place in Antigua in the West Indies. Much was learnt from the sessions and we are now in a much better position to support the Branch Associations.
The second Branches Conference takes place in Tonga this summer. Watch this space for news!
