The Scout Association is fortunate to own a number of prestigious sites, in attractive locations.
Gilwell Park
Situated on the edge of Epping Forest, Gilwell Park is a spectacular 108-acre woodland estate. Used year round as a campsite and training centre for our adult leadership, it is also the National Headquarters of The Scout Association. Facilities include a climbing wall, swimming pool, which can be used by staff by prior arrangement.
Despite its rural location, Gilwell Park is only five minutes from Chingford High Street. Chingford itself is only 20 minutes on the main train line from London Liverpool Street.
Baden-Powell House
Baden-Powell House, situated in the smart, cosmopolitan district of South Kensington. Since it was opened by HM The Queen in 1961, thousands of Scouts, Guides and members of the public have passed through its doors.
Offering conferencing facilities, as well as accommodation, its location in London's 'museum-land' make it a popular choice for tourists and a focal point for Scout visitors from abroad.
Hawkhirst
Located within the 200 square miles of the Kielder Forest and surrounded on three sides by the vast expanse of Kielder Water, Hawkhirst Adventure Camp is The Scout Association's flagship centre for outdoor activities.
Extending over 70 acres of forest, the facility is used primarily for camping and watersports.
Lancing
Lancing, West Sussex, the home of commercial operations. Selling uniforms badges and merchandise on www.outdoors.co.uk. Scouts Insurance Services are also based in Lancing.

'I have known Gilwell Park since my days as a Cub Scout. But I never thought that I would work here. The location is just idyllic. The people that work here are so friendly and committed to supporting the Movement. There's always a 'buzz' about the place
